If you know me, you know how much my grand-"Pa", Barney Monroe, meant to me. Not one day goes by that his laugh does not play in my memory. I, thankfully, had him in my life for 29 long years, and out of those 29 years, I was either sitting down with him in person enjoying his history, finance or politics talks, or I was talking to him over the phone. I did not go one day without talking to him. Anytime I needed non-judging advice, my Pa was my #1.
I miss him tremendously!
So, it's only fitting that our precious Brooklyn carry his middle name. And, if that's not special enough, it's her grandpa (my dad) Bryan's middle name, too! I've loved the elegance of Grace since I first fell in love with Grace Kelly's beauty as a young girl but Monroe holds so much more of a sentimental value.

As you read earlier, we had a "golden egg" reveal party on April 25th. An oversized gold balloon from Shop Sweet Lulu was filled with confetti by our local florist and brought to the party just in time for my husband to pop it and reveal the pink "girl" confetti.
